Climate Change

UPDATED

C'mon, we can do this. We've proven that we can solve an environment crisis once. Remember the Ozone Hole? We were successful in stopping the use of CFCs in most of our appliances (not that we stopped, the industry stopped usin it coz of government regulation). Now the Ozone is in a stabil shape.

But another environmental crisis is hitting us again. This time, climate change. This is the result of years since the Industrial Revolution of dependence on carbon-based fuel for energy. All we need is better public transport, encouragement to develop sustainable energy sources, be environmentally concious and be environmentally responsible.

It's us who can make a difference. Solving climate change solves the oil price increase. How? By cutting down on oil dependence, demands go down, prices go down as well! Solving climate change solves the food crisis. How? Cheaper oil = cheaper food, see the connection? Solving climate change also keeps our food producers safe from harm. Damages dealt by climate-change-caused disasters like unseasonal rain in Kerala, India and extended drought in Australia is huge to the food economy.

So fellow people. Climate change is not in the US. It's a global thing. No matter how small a progress we're making, it's still a progress. It's just whether we're willing to make an effort to do something for Earth. Doin something for Earth sounds big, but it isn't. The beneficiary is everyone, you included, and your children, and your loved ones, and your wallet.

Let's do this!

P/S: This is a spontaneous act out of inspiration. I have lots more to say but they juz weren't in the flow.
