I'm feeling so weird right now...

I noe this sounds weird and crazy, but I've juz gotta say this. I feel weird. Aiks.
Kay see. I used to be wit this girl. (who here doesn't matter). Den as time leaks from the sand-clock (dunno wut's it called la ok? Juz tryin to be symbolic) I started to realise that the relationship would harm both of us. She being the naive one, I have to take matters to my own hand. I noe that I won't be coming back coz I noe myself. I also noe that she won't be that patient to wait for someone who's already said to himself that he's not coming back to the skool. And lots of other factors that involve both parties la...

So, a series of planned potential break up strategies have been worked out. Well as it turns out that my feelings fluctuate from 'i wanna leave this thing right now' to 'yes we gon work this out together, even if it means *insert promise here*' very frequent. Yes, I'm that 'lalang'. Maybe I'm juz that soft inside that I do not want to hurt her feelings. Well well well... Look who's talking here...

As it happens that a catalyst appeared to help the whole process to the right track. She wanted to look cute, so she said that she wanted to break up (in a somehow stable and undisturbed way). I was delighted la. It was my plan and it worked like a snap! So I said ok and wished her luck. And she walked off. Well me and me dudes were at the canteen ma that time. So I punched the sky and obviously, happy (weird eh? Where got ppl break up so happy one?). 2 days later, she came and asked wut happened. I was like WTF la. Damn it we broke up liao right? Whoa apparently she was joking about it but she wanted to sound like she wanted me to believe it. Well it worked, or not I won't be feeling like I'm flying without wings. Den i said that I've put down that burden already and dun wish to get back together. Den it all went bad and stuff la...

So the final showdown was one day when i said I wanted to break up (coz after that day she asked me to think about it again). It was very very awkward as it happened online, through WLM (windows live messenger if ya wondering. Move on ppl!). So yea I sounded mean and it kinda did the job. Then the next day I dunno wut the phuck was wrong, I thought about all the stuff that happened. Den that evening I called, to patch things up. It so happened that some stuff happened on the other side that kinda seals the deal (here being officially broken up).

So I thought to myself: 'ok, now wut you've wanted was being done. You should be happy! Move on lil kid. You still have a battle to fight!'. So I moved on and never looked back. It all went well as I was doin quite smooth for the trials.

So around that period of time, rumours spreaded that she found another one. Well I was glad la. Seriously glad for her. But then it all happened that it was false alarm and it never happened.

Then recently, it was official that she found a new 'home'. Well of coz I'm glad for her. But deep inside I dunno why but I feel so damn weird. I feel strange. Damn it, I told myself that I was to give up on this girl and it happened. Why am I feeling this way? I dunno wut this feeling's called. Jealous? Envious? The feeling of losing wut-you-used-to-have? The feeling of wanting someone back? I really dunno. Do i want her back? No. But deep down there's this little tingling feeling in my heart that really started after she found a new guy.

Wut made it worse was the picture of her on my friendster. You noe the featured friends part? Well she used to ask me put her as my featured friends. So i thought nothing one la. So i put la. And it stuck there even after we broke up. At first it was ok, coz the disp pic was normal only. Den when she started to actively update it, it changed. Nicer looking pictures started to pop out. Well I must admit that I'm a guy that's easily captured by pictures. So then the strange feeling started to churn in my stomach. Damn!

I'm gonna emphasis that I have no intentions to get her back. Well, I'm sure there are much better ones out there, juz that they've not appeared yet.

To think of it, well it wasn't really worth my time to think about it, right? Afterall, we weren't really considered being together. We didn't do much wut couples do. The feeling's not strong. Maybe it's juz the feeling of possession la... The feeling of having someone is stronger than actually being wit someone in this relationship. Maybe this should'nt be even considered one. Afterall, 3 weeks is only an acquaintance, right? 3 weeks to noe that she's not the right one... Not bad for a first timer... Hrmm... Does that mean I still retain my 'first time'? I guess so... Yea I'm pretty sure that's the case... Woohoo!!!

To rap up the update, here's more macro shots from my collection.

The front view. Click to see the details captured.

Got look like the Ferarri ads in the newspaper? Reflections one... Hahaha syok sendiri...

Another one... Nice huh? Hahaha...

OK. So it'll be another week till I update, I guess... Enjoy the weekdays! Bye!

Dia seorang yang bersopan santun...

Phew! 2 days away from the internet. Weekend ma... Online a bit loh...

Today went to skool for jamuan akhir tahun. Having jamuan pengawas after skool. This year's jamuan kinda weak la... Have to buy coupon you noe... Rm5 summore... No coupon no food. Yea this time skool do ma... I think they dun wan us to do our own party gua... So teachers got check b4 entering canteen. Canteen provide a set of stuff la. In a foam plate, you have a few stuff in it and it's standardized. The food ah...

Beehoon ok la... Lacking a bit of flavors. Weird part is this. Ketupat ada, kuah kacang ada, satay mana? Aduh... The ketupat soft and soggy... Like eating kuih you noe... "Kuih Bubur". Yea, like solidified porridge... Just that it's not so solid yet... The best part of the meal is the rendang ayam la... Not bad la... Hahaha got 2 trays of watermelons there. One tray is nice red one. Another tray is all whitish one (i think is the outer part of the melon flesh...). After the whole jamuan, the white flesh tray is still intact. Kinda makes you wonder wut's the point of getting one tray of white outermost melon flesh when nobody's goin to eat it.

Ding ding dong dong jamuan skool finish. Den we went to change into our 'real' shirts. We planned to have a 'black' theme but it didn't work as planned... While waited for bus to come (how weird is this, we rented a bus to fetch us go makan...) took a lot of pictures lo...

Reach there that time nampak one of the pahlia-est venue for an annual jamuan. It's a cafe kind of place (in a golf club one). It looks pahlia at first. But after some getting used to, it looks like some other places la... Ding ding dong dong majilis start liao. Ding ding dong dong makan time. The food is not bad la. At least it's better than expected la...

Den come the performances. Bugger got one segment where all the form 5's go up the stage and they'll give description and guess the person one... "Dia seorang yang bersopan santun". Yea thanks now everyone's gonna bitch to me about being a sopan guy... Hahaha actually quite fun also la... Can play along a bit... Den got lucky draw. Den got certs. Ding ding dong dong (wut's up wit me usin this so many times?) thing ended and we went around to take pictures.

Was quite fun la having ppl coming and take pictures wit ya. Our friend Jon was like usual la... Ppl comment a bit den he LT around. But this time he LT-ed at the wrong-est time. Hahaha not goin into detail la... But i'm pretty sure he's not gonna do it again. We went around den we came to this place where we can see the practice green one. Hahaha started to take pics again la... Macam macam pose keluar la... Even kena tangkap gambar buntut... Aiks...

Dunno la... I think i'm good at taking pictures, but not good at featuring in it... Bugger ah every picture a take like so weird looking one...

The whole jamuan thing was nice la... At least better-planned than last year's one la... Aiks... Last time loh... Ended liao... No more liao la...

Take a look at this:

Authentic manglish I tell you... "kentang goreng"... "fried potato"...

The final 'pickup'.

It's less than 3 weeks till 'D-Day'. All the studyin done in the past 11 years (started from 1+1=3, right?) will be for that day. All the miseries we've gone through, all the competition we've been in. It all doesn't matter anymore. Coz now wut matters the most is this: SPM cert, aka O level studies.

I might be making it sound big here. But it does mean a lot to me (me, us, wutever). Well I dun wanna see 11 years of sweat, blood and brainpower go down the drain just like that, right?

I've been trying everything. From making an effort to do add maths, to making a timetable that I wish I'm able to follow.

I think I'm not coming online until SPM finishes. I thought of making it a once a week online thing. Well we'll see. This might sound early but to all SPM 2007 candidates out there, I wish you the best of luck for SPM (you def need more than juz luck), and shall your dreams come true. And of coz get your eyes off this monitor you're staring at right now and lay it on your biology or sejarah text book instead.

Not to forget, I'm in the process of making this a photoblog, so here goes, shot of the day, fresh from the rain juz now.

If you could just click on it you'll see veins in the water drop. I realised it after looking at it on the monitor. Seriously it wasn't my original intention.

So there you have it. Hey if ya still reading this, remember that your future is in your hands. Don't blow it! Go do revisions!!!

P/S: Gosh I really dunno wut to write in the paragraphs before the picture. So if it sounds weird, you noe that i'm desperate to throw something in there...

Comparing old and new

Ok I'm doing a comparison b/w the old phone and the new phone, camera wise.
*You noe this blog is becoming a photoblog after I bought the new phone, right?*

6630, view from my room (cannot take the direct opposite or not kena sue for voyeurism)

I guess the difference is not the obvious. But click den you noe la... It's in the details...

Color capturing ability. The floor.

Note the color difference. (I think the new phone made the floor look new)

Text capturing ability. The idioms I was reading a while ago...

Please, click to see the difference. You will be amazed.

I'm lazy la....

There, I said it. I'm kinda lazy to update the blog these few days. Taking my time to laze in the holidays while I still can.

Since I'm taking a lot of pictures these few days, might as well show it off a little.

EDIT: There seems to be a conflict b/w the pictures and the template. Juz click at the pictures to view the 'full' picture la. The template covered up around 20% of the left side of all my pictures.

To YLup: I dun take pics for documentation, if you noe wut i mean... It's an interest my friend...

DSC00081
hahaha... Trying to make it look like a part of an old building...

My best shot to date (or at least I think). Not bad huh? Notice how I made the background blurry to highlight the subject? hehe...

Another shot.

Shot taken at the new Giant Bandar Kinrara.

It's big. But boring at the same time. Dude wut else can you do at a hypermarket? It will always be wut it is. Something like a mini IOI Mall, minus the Popular and cinema, and the occasional leng lui. And it's freakin cold there. Ain't the janitor or manager doin anything?

Ok I need your help to see which shot is nicer:

Adios 6630...

At first today mom planned to go makan wit her friends again one. Mana tau her friends all yesterday play until very late, today 'fong fei kei' (yea, those aunties go karaoke after the dinner yesterday I think) lo... So we all went out to IOI Mall...
At first we went there we saw the iron grill of Jusco closed. Huh? Raya close? Dunno maybe they wanna let the workers rest, my mom said. Den we went inside thru the Starbucks entrance there. Eh? Why a whole bunch of ppl going into Jusco one? Juz like they were all outside the minute before and were given the signals to go in. Whoa I tot it was another bomb scare (choi!) coz when we walked thru the entrance that time saw a guard holding a shot gun there... Den go read the notice there. "We are open bla bla bla 1PM to *something*PM". Den I looked at the time, "oh... So ngam one... Juz touched 1PM". Maybe they were waiting for Jusco to open lo that time...

Then it came to this moment where I was still in Popular readin stuff. Mom called to come down to the phone shop. Whoa she was sitting there liao, everything discuss liao. Den ask me "you really need this phone?" Hahaha I said not really but den she still bought it. Hahaha was tlaking to her about this for quite some time liao de... Dudes whom I talked to about this should noe wut I'm talking about la... So the guy there say 'here only got 2 SE phones (WTH?)' and showed me K510i and W810i. Of coz 810i la... Too bad the guy say no white color... Aiks got sanjay's skin on my phone... So within a few minutes the payment was made and there I was, carrying the phone without even having the psychological preparations for it... Hrmm... Who's dreamin about it for few times already liao leh? Hahaha...

I tell you ar... The phone ar... Really nice ar I tell you... Everything else normal la. But the camera ah I tell you ar... Really good ar I tell you. The headphones snug like a glove. OMG I can't wait for it to fully charge (hrmm... I took it out when it says 'battery full' even though I noe that it needs 8 hours coz I really wanna play wit it!).

Ok before I make a review of the phone, let's have a look at the few pics I took to see how well it performs...

No it's not Firefox + W810 pack... BTW GO GET FIREFOX!

You see? Macro mode can capture the seams of the phone lanyard! And even the cuts on the FFX logo (not Final Fantasy Ten ar. Ain't no FF fan here...)! Will talk about the accessory in the future la... Juz in case ppl asked, I didn't buy that, ok?

The thing in the centre is one of the mosquitoes caught by the thing.

Geng or not? Mosquito also can capture!

It can even capture fingerprints! *I strongly advice you to enlarge it*

Ok I've gotta do the security measures coz it really did a damn good job in capturing my fingerprints. Juz in care yer wondering, the first finger is chemistry, 2nd is physics, 3rd is add maths...

Oh I almost forgot! To all my Malaysian Muslim friends and readers who are reading this, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. To the international ones, Happy Al-Fitr. Non muslims happy holidays! SPM candidates: get your eyes off the monitor coz SPM's juz around the corner! 20+ DAYS TO GO!

Chinese Medicine works best...

Ou yea! Felt better today liao. Yesterday my mom found some leftover medicine for fever and had me taken it. Dunno I heard from where last time saying that it's not good to eat expired medicine... I saw the date and it says 03/08. It's either third of August, or eight of March. Either way it's expired.

Being still nausea-ic , I tak boleh tahan and korek around for Pou Chai Yuen (for you noobs, it's the famous chinese medicine for stomach ache that comes in small bottles and the pills are mini-sized you think it's BB for babies). I read the instruction and thank god it says 'for symptomatic relief of mild fever and bla bla bla vomiting bla bla bla...'. Without wasting a minute I took one serving and swallowed it with water (of coz water la... 100 Plus meh?). After a while, felt tak betul, took another serving juz to be sure.

So far so good. No more nausea-isms. Occasionally got pressure build-ups la, so I pressed my chest towards the side of the couch to 'squeeze' the air out. Phew! At least it's not vomit ma...

I still think chinese medicine is the best la. C'mon, which type of medicine has at least 5000 years history (wiki says that by 2500+ BC they already have kitab ubat cina liao la...)? Wanna compare? The western medicine only emerges latest after 1AD (which makes it a maximum of 2000 years history, but I strongly doubt it) (wiki says medicine as it is now is developed around the 2nd millenia, aka 11th century). Ayurveda you say? No less than 1000 BC ago. Ok the earliest found is the egyptians (wiki says the first surgery by them dates back to 3000BC) , but the ones that are still practiced now is the chinese one loh...

So to all cina out there, be proud of your cultural roots. It's these stuff that makes you different from other ppl.

P/S: Now you noe wut I do online... Hahaha... Occasionally I do wiki for ants...

Trivia: Do you noe that the human corpse decomposes to skeleton faster without being buried compared to being six feet under? Even without a coffin, it takes sometimes 10 years for the corpse to decompose underground.

EDIT: Aiya bored la online. Talk crap a bit la... As in, crap kind of crap...

Mom dragged us to have dinner with her friends. Go to this Teluk Gong place to makan. It's somewhere near Port Klang la (signboard la...). So biasa la, 靠山食山,靠海食海 (near to mountain, eat wut the mountain offers, near to sea, eat wut the sea offers) (amazing huh so much can be said from so little chinese characters). Had seafood.

Since I'm juz starting to feel a bit better from my sickness, I was told by my mom not to eat so much of the seafood. Guess wut, an eater will always be an eater. At first when the food starts to come the appetite not yet come la. Was controlling myself over how much to eat coz scared all will vomit back out again. Of coz la no appetite. Beehoon as appetizers, 2 orders summore, one beehoon, one dung fun (crystal/jelly noodle). Wah damn de-appetizing.

Den came the crabs. Damn nice I tell you. Dun really fancy the *shiat forgot the name, but it's in this red sauce/gravy that's a little bit spicy one, usually comes with the mantou to dip one* coz not that nice. The nai yao hai (butter crabs) ar I tell you... Damn nice ar... Hahaha I saw most of the ppl there dunno how to eat the crab body. I tell you ar, when you noe the technique to tear the body apart ar, the meaty stuff inside ar... Damn nice I tell you... Esp when you bite the whole thing that time the juices shoot out like pipes burst like that. Too bad it's a bit too oily la...

I tell you, arteries got partially blocked after this meal. The crab paste *dunno wut's it's really called la, roe tak betul ma... 蟹膏 in the sides of the crab head one...* I tell you... Nice but hazardous I tell you...

Urghh...

Today sien la... Juz sat on the couch and watch TV. Headache wut to do la... And yesterday I vomited. It tasted like hot sour pandan soup (ate pandan cakes ma...). Bugger ah...

This nausea thing has been bothering me for the whole day. I feel this pressure building up in my chest, but when I visit the toilet and poke the end of my throat, nothing happen. Maybe I wasn't daring enough to poke anywhere deeper la. But a touch at the end of my throat yesterday night made me like the indah water pipe. Spewing out ok?

Den chloe sms-ed me to see if i'm ok. She advised me to take a cold shower. Aiks I think the fever is coming back after that shiver. The headache did go away though, for a while.

Now I feel like berak-ing and vomiting at the same time... Damn scared to eat dinner la... Afterward vomit out wutever I ate... Wasted...

Oh yea I got channel 588 to work. Damn you have to manually DL the channels one... Apala cakap 'leave it in standby mode and let the decoder update'. Cakap 'go DL urself' better la... Now I have the few upcoming channels working too, like Asian Food Channel (looking forward to watching 'The F Word', sounds wicked) and more Indian channels.

Aiks, wut's up with the recent rise in hindi channels la? Now they even have a 24 hour hindi kids channel...

Worst Start to a Holiday EVER!

While everyone had fun screaming their hearts out in conjunction with the one-week Raya holidays, I was looking for a way to plant a bomb in my head so that it explodes like how it wanted to...

It all starts out with the usual laze in the bed. Hrmm... 10am, time to get up. Den I went down, watched TV and had lunch after a while. It all seemed to be the typical start to a holiday until I started to feel this burning sensation on my skin, on my forehead to be exact. Nia seng ah I tot it was juz tiredness or some sort. So I went back upstairs and tried to sleep. Needless to say it was an uphill task juz to get myself back into my comfort zone.

I knew it was fever as soon as I turned on the fan. TNS ah out of all days, the first day of the holidays? Aiks. I found a can of 100 Plus in my golf bag the other day, so I think it can come to good use. I took sips of it and eventually gulping it up as I'm desperate to get this heat off my body. Now who says that 100 Plus is always effective? Thru my past experience, it's only good for dehydration-induced illness. I dun think it's dehydration this time...

Trying hard to cool myself, I went back and forth to the toilet and pat water on my forehead. Along comes a glass of water every now and then. Damn it this got so repetitive that I got bored of unloading my bladder. Seriously, how often you get bored of peeing? I gave my mom a call so that she can buy a bottle of 100 Plus. In the meantime of waiting for the isotonic drink, I played soft songs thru my phone in an attempt to relax. It felt really good. Sheesh once I played a fast-tempo-ed song my head felt like exploding again.

Damn this headache is really annoying. We always hear ppl say they wanna bang their heads into walls in certain occasions. I'm having that feeling right now... I felt like drilling a hole in my head so that I can get that stinging pain out. It's situated around the upper region of the back of my head. At the same time my jewel sack was heating up I was scared that it might hurt the little Foo's in it.

Then my mom returned, with a bottle of unknown stuff. It was some kind of homemade bottled chinese medicine that is whitish. It even has precipitations (2 years of science did affect my writings these few days...)! It smelt pungent and even tasted a little pungent. I stopped inhaling while drinking to cover up the pungent smell. It was hard not to breath while drinking something, especially when you noe that the smell will make you puke.

After finishing the medicine, I felt a little better. At least the heat's gone. Wut's left is the stinging sensation in my brain. I think it's some kind of bug trapped in my head or something. It's ANNOYING!!!

Sorry dudes, the flow of writing juz came. Wrote a bit longer about something simple this time...

Oh yea while I was waiting for that medicine oh my bed, I had a lot of stuff goin thru my brains. The feeling to call a friend and share the misery is so strong that time. These are the times you wished you weren't single. Yea. You wanted to share the pain and hope that your partner consoles you and talk to you, giving you moral support. It's that childish, but it's true. Nothing beats a little bit of companionship when you needed it the most. Gosh...

Maybe the headache stopped me from looking at the display too long. Argh...

EDIT: Oh yea, any of you guys have channel 588 working? I think 588's a phony channel la... Dude it juz says 'no channel to this number' or wutever. After all the ads, a phony channel? Aiks...

KL, we have a liftoff.

Juz a simple update, from time of posting the Soyuz spacecraft has juz been launched 10 minutes ago. Let's juz say that it's not that much of a glorious moment afterall...

NASA's page on Expedition 16

That guy was on the cam for a while, den it was all Commander Peggy. Aiks, space flight participant... I tot he is going to conduct some kind of experiment on cancer cells in zero gravity? Not approved eh? Hahaha the commentator said that he's up for a 'commercial visit'. Doesn't exactly noe wut it means but I'm sure it's something simple...

But why huh? Why he ain't no astronaut? Tak begitu layak kot...

Hope that he can reach ISS without any difficulties...

EDIT:
Expedition 16 in Orbit, Heads to Station

Expedition 16 Commander Peggy Whitson, Flight Engineer Yuri Malenchenko and spaceflight participant Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor are in orbit and on their way to the International Space Station. Their Soyuz TMA-11 spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome Wednesday at 9:22 a.m. EDT and entered orbit less than 10 minutes later. They will dock to the Earth-facing port of the station’s Zarya module on Friday about 10:52 a.m.

The Expedition 15 crew has been busy readying the station as they prepare to greet their replacements and Malaysian guest. Commander Fyodor Yurchikhin and Flight Engineer Oleg Kotov set up a work space in the Zvezda service module that will allow the visiting Shukor to perform several experiments over nine days. Flight Engineer Clay Anderson also resized U.S. spacesuits for Whitson and Malenchenko for an upcoming spacewalk. The current station crew also held space-to-ground teleconferences with their Expedition 16 counterparts to assist with handover activities.

Yurchikhin and Kotov are scheduled to leave the station on Oct. 21 officially ending the Expedition 15 increment. Shukor will go home with the two cosmonauts. Anderson will remain onboard with Expedition 16 and return to Earth next month aboard Discovery on its STS-120 mission.

Hrmm... Maybe he does get to do some experiments afterall... Not wasted!!!

It's gon be a week of holidays...

I knew that I would be blogging about the boring block studies we had, so I might as well condense the past 3 days into 1, den I might move on to something else.

Monday nothing special, was physics and add maths, but physics gone coz of some ceramah. Was the usual career ceramah la, but by UPM students...

Tuesday sien la... Chemistry also did nothing other than looking at the projector and shout answers. Hahaha teacher was shouting at us to keep us under control. She saw how noisy we were the other day wit add maths and I think she goyang already. Eventually she gave up as well. Nothing can match the combination of Cengal+Jati, right? Modern maths also biasa only la...

Today leh... Got this majilis to donate money one. Hahaha felt generous and donated 33% of my pocket money. Hey one-third is a lot ar... Juz dun ask how much my daily pocket money is...

Bio time had fun kacau vince la. Physics biasa only...

See, i told ja. Biasa only, right?

Nothing much of a brain food to talk about today...

Oh yea, today's China's National Day, which coincidentally is also Taiwan's National Day. Called the 'Double Ten' celebration, the chinese ppl has few days off.

If you think the 5 hours of undang is long, think again...

Woke up at 7.30 to prepare. Actually nothing to prepare also, bawa badan cukup la... Ate 2 slices of bread and watched some tv before I left for amali.

Waited at the driving school for the guy to pick up. So this time we weren't to go to the previous place where I went for the 5 hour undang thing. This is time an old place at damansara (hahaha actually dunno where is it but read the wordings there la, heck around the place can only see "MBPJ"). Whoa this time I'm the only one taking amali, 3 more students are goin for undang. The amali class got a few leng lui also oh... YLup, you missed it all...

So the procedure is something like this:
- You arrive.
- You fill up a simple form.
- You have your fingerprints scanned.
- You proceed to the lecture room and sit there for 6 hours.

Well not exactly 6 hours la. The first 3 hours is something like the undang thing. Talk talk a bit la. Simple explanation about stuff on road la. The next 3 hours is the practical lecture. It's so 'exam-orientated' that they even brought in the checklist that the actual JPJ officers are going to use to give you marks.

The whole license thing consists of 3 tests:
- Bahagian I (computerized)
- Bahagian II (Slope, parking and 3 point turn)
- Bahagian III (on-the-road drive test)

Bahagain II and III are the real driving la. You'll get your L License after amali which is after you passed your bahagian I. II and III is done on the same day. Means like the candidates are divided into 2 groups, the first one do bhgn II and the other do bhgn III.

Aiks the first 3 hours is full of bull crap. The guy's funny la but it gets boring after awhile, especially when you haven't had lunch yet. Glad that it was over.

I planned wit the clerk so that I take my lessons in December. She say she'll process my L License around mid-November so that it won't expire so early.

Oh yea bad news YLup, next year onwards JPJ will test candidates on the pre-driving check. Something like check engine oil, brake oil and stuff. Have fun!

P/S: The Koo Kien Kiet/Tan Boon Heong doubles pair got back into shape! They won the Macau Open against another malaysian veteran pair, Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah 2 sets to 1.

Home alone...

Yeap. Today home alone ah at home. Initially thought this weekend got seminar, mana tau postponed. Parents and sister went back to hometown liao. So it's me all alone at home...

After some arithmetics, I decided to go listen to amali and get the L License b4 SPM, aka tomorrow. See it's like this, if I had to wait for YLup, he would only get to go for the driving test in January, in which he will be in NS (means no go). If I get my L License now, it would only take me at most until Christmas for me to get my P License! Not bad huh? See if I wait for Y Lup, I'm gonna go to the test myself, if I dun wait I also have to go myself. No diff ma... Except this amali thing la that I decided to go myself. So YLup, it's all yourself liao la...

Other than my happy time, looks like I'm gonna watch footy... Dang playing footy and watching footy is so different ya noe... Watching footy is very boring... Unless you're having the big guns against the small weasels la den you can hope for a scoring frenzy. Sometimes can even see the underdog go top!

A piece of the Ramadhan Craze

Feeling a bit sien, we planned to have a taste of the Ramadhan Bazaar near seksy*n 4. So we brought some stuff and went lepakking at Jon's house.

Before that, we went to retrieve some stuff from aunty (driver). But when I opened my bag Eugene's hp was missing (he asked me to keep it for him)! Whoa den aunty turned back and asked:" looking for something?". Rupa-rupanya she took it liao coz scared it got stolen by the other students she's fetching. Whoa kena sound for not telling her. She asked us to tell her and let her keep the handphone next time. Den she gave back Eugene's phone. Whoa...

Then we stormed Jon's house loh. Hahaha he kept on saying that he wanted to study but couldn't coz we invaded his place. Vincent also one case one. Coz at his house dun have streamyx ma, so he took the chance to watch all the youtube vids that he had always wanted to watch. Was damn funny as he treated the place like a CC only.

Speaking of having Jon's PC like a mini CC, whoa YLup they all took over and played RO (urgh...) after Vincent left. After that Eugene's girl wanted to use it to edit her blog, so they gave way to them. Hahaha really ar...

Around 5 we went out to the bazaar. Haha was shouting "Cross the road la SH!!!". The bazaar was opened by the time we went. Many stuff was sold there la. We went one round first to scan a bit den second round we bought the stuff that looked nice to eat. I bought 2 ikan bakar and some otak-otak. Other food that dudes bought include satay, nasi minyak, cucuk udang, air tebu among others. After buying we went back to Jon's place to makan.

Jason acted like he was the host lo. Ordering ppl to take stuff like that. We sat down and ate la (wut else...). Had fun chit-chatting while we ate. Hahaha knew a lil more about dudes la (hahaha Jon's lil habit...). Everyone was stuffed as there was really a lot of food. Well wut matters wasn;t the food, but the time being together, right? Everyone helped to clean up the place (dang these little details that I'm mentioning makes me feel that I'm like those diary bloggers...).

Around 7 left Jon's place. Hrmm... Where's Yee Yan? She said she wanted to join us with her friend...

P/S: The day was eventful la, but didn't want to go to the details or not it'll be long and chunky and boring... Well, you get the idea.

P/S 2: You noe the amount of fun we had when you dun see pictures... I forgot to take pictures!

Ok, now THIS is getting out of hand...

Wow, coincidentally one day after I talked about blog diversity, the theme spread to the media, national style.

Let's make it simple, a girl blogged about ppl cheating in a domestic exam (damn i like using the word 'domestic'). She reported the whole incident in detail, ie names of cheaters and teachers who couldn't be bothered. This caught the attention of the cheaters and they went 'mommy mommy she talked bad about me! *cries* Can we tell this to the skool please?'. So the 'rombongan peniru' went to the skool and demanded action. Then the skool, in an attempt to save the skool's name, ordered the girl to delete the related post.

Now here's the catch: the girl's a straight A scorer in PMR last year. She wouldn't need to worry about getting low marks, right? All she wanted was justice. Sorry girl, Justice Bao is just a legend. So she lost the battle of catching the cheaters, and learned that our beloved bolehland is just another place full of shit-brained ppl (if yer one of them, I DEMAND YOU TO CLICK THAT 'X' AT THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF YOUR SCREEN THIS INSTANCE! FCK YOU IF YER TRYIN TO FCK ME).

Now I don't really think that our country's internet is all that freedom-less. The one to be blamed here is the school. I'm really against schools exploiting students, in this case, they are exploiting someone who knew nothing about punishments and law. As a result of being pressured and knowing nothing about punishments/law, she had to bow to the evil forces. Really, I don't think there's a law/rule in the education ministry's rule book that states that no student shall be granted the right to talk about the school openly on the net, and I doubt its existence in the constitution too. This is by all means human rights abuse, and the school should, by all means, made to apologize to the girl.

I say let's demand freedom of speech be enforced (it's allowed, but controlled by I5A). Let's make it something like US's First Amendment (wiki it up la if you dunno. Watch Discovery la...). Seriously the gov is protecting themselves too much and they need to open up so that the country can move forward. Afterall, improvements are impossible without critiques. And this includes school trying harder to control cheaters.

EDIT: Oooo, we do have something like the First Amendment. It's called Article 10. which grants the people the same thing like the First Amendment. I dun quite understand "entitles citizens to such freedoms as are not restricted by the government, instead of absolutely guaranteeing those freedoms" though... Mean wat? Nobody including the gov can make rules to restrict ppl's speech?

Cheer up guys. If in doubt, get your IC out and read the words at the upper left corner. The flag sounds familiar? Yeap, yer certified to be living in that country. This is bolehland, and shit happens in this country when shit-brained still exists in this wonderful land of culture (VMY 2007 going to end liao now still promo meh...).

Hahaha, I learned it the hard way though...

============
Welcome to bolehland, where freedom of speech is just a metaphor. They don't mean it, really.

This is getting out of hand...

It's obvious that classmate-bloggers are sprouting like mushrooms after a rain (do mushrooms sprout?). One after another, everybody wants to be a blogger.

A few of us are distressed over the fact that a few of our fellow rookie bloggers are blogging in a way that is not to the comfort of them. Well let's take a look at the few type of blogs that are common among us:

The first type, the online diary type. I think this is the most common type. Ppl 'blog' about their daily activities, literally logging them (hehehe i do it sometimes too...) like a log book. Well, to my understanding this style doesn't quite gain the acceptance of some of the more... erm... senior/prolific bloggers around. It seemed to them that it's practically pointless to log every detail of their daily activities as no one would actually care about it.

My say is that well, maybe they wanted to have their hands on 'online diary'? You noe, sharing wut they've done, wut they wanted to do... It's nothing wrong bout it ya noe...

The second type is the 'brain food' type. These blogs consists mainly of food for thoughts. Its bloggers share their thoughts (like wut I'm doin now) about an issue or a topic. This type of blog is not common as it would be a bit rare for ppl to actually think about an issue and voice it out on the net, sharing it wit fellow bloggers. This is more of a 'thoughts interaction' blog as readers would reply to these posts to further discuss the topic with the blogger.

The third type is the documentation/collection type. These blogs mainly consists of collections of pointless pictures, linked videos and even poems that are posted mainly for the sake of collecting and etc. There're also photoblogs that ppl blog thru photographs, vlogs that ppl narrate or make a video as a substitute for typing.

The forth type is political type. Nothing much about this type la. Ya noe, political propaganda la wut else...

My point is, there are many types of blogs out there. Bloggers have to tolerate, respect and accept (in no particular order) other ppl's blogs as it is their style of blogging. For something that someone likes, there's no guarantee that nobody that will dislike it. The same goes with something that someone hates a lot and there's also no guarantee that nobody will like it. There will always be haters and like-ers. They co exist. The wonderful thing about modern mass media is that if you dun like it, close it, block it or dun even open it at the first place. Done. Everyone has their right to blog as to their style and way. There's really no need to specifically criticize a particular blog juz coz it's not to your reading likes, coz at the same time, there might be ppl having the same feeling towards your blog.

This is what I call acceptance. The willingness to accept differences is a valued quality.

Another thing I've known about the recent rise in blogs is for being 'trendy' or 'up-to-date'. It has come to my knowledge that some ppl start blogging just coz 'my friends has it'. This is a bad bad way to start blogging. I'm not against ppl to start blogging, in fact it's good to blog. But to start blogging juz coz your friend has it is not an excuse to start using up the precious internet resources (yes, the internet is a resource too, wiki it out). It's really pointless to blog a few posts and eventually stop blogging coz you hadn't developed the passion for blogging. Really. Blogs that are started in a hype/reasons-other-than-actually-blogging usually die off within a month, the longest being 3.

Blogging is something like an actual writing, just in electronic form. You need a passion for it. Of coz dun get too passionate until you spill too much and land yourself into trouble.

Blogging is more of sharing of thoughts and events. It would be very pointless if all the posts were about the same thing (logs of reoccurring events).

This is what I call being rational, or rather, being individualistic. Be yourself, and not a trend trailer, trailing behind a trend that you would eventually lose out coz you dun have a passion for it.

Flames welcomed.

Hahaha so much for exciting titles. Does it really matter?

So like, tak jadi go for amali coz have to wait after b'day. I'm wayyy past 17. YLup is not. As a friend who is willing to sacrifice for his friend, I decided to wait wit him. After SPM only continue driving lessons loh... Dun wanna bore to death listening to dude talking about engines and stuff...

Today ah... Other than lepak-ing around, playin mini-footy, mini baseball, there's nothing much to talk about la... Oh yah there's also the thing where I got to be the Honest Guy. Hahaha lazy to tlak about it la... Something to do about me getting high marks in the first place den me admitting to teacher that she counted wrongly. Recounted the marks but retained the grade, well from a 1 to a 2 la... Good enough.

Hrmm.... Cannot simply talk about stuff liao... Classmate-bloggers are on the rise. They might shoot me back... Aiks next time la...
