ZOMG!!!!

"VERY IMPORTANT - BIG VIRUS COMING!!! PLEASE READ & FORWARD!!!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message

with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM BEJING', regardless of who

sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which

'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. This virus will be received from

someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. This is the

reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts It is better

to receive this message 1000 times than to receive the virus and open it...

If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD FROM BEJING,' even though

sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.

This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by

Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered

by McAfee, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus.

This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the

vital information is kept.

--------------
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!! I literally cracked up when I read the email.

First of all the term 'big virus' is hilarious. 'Big' is never a word used to describe a virus. LOL

The rule of thumb is to not open any attachment that wasn't pre-mentioned, esp from someone you dunno. Anyone who opens it is a dumbfag worth to be shot in the head.

And I don't think CNN and Microsoft will be involved in announcing a virus' existence. The most MS would do is announce a SECURITY HOLE and offer an urgent patch.

Virus detection is antivirus companies' job. They would want to take credit for detection a virus firsthand, and not say that they can't remove it. Bad reputation for the software.

And no repair is false. Either format or get a new HDD will do.

Last but not least, the mere existence of this so-called 'Zero Sector" is doubted.

I'm havin fun bustin myths. Or at least laughing my ass out at a myth, esp an e-myth.
